1. Can send any file to anyone?
Yes, you can send any file to any device that runs an internet browser. Because we are currently running within a browser, there are limits to the size of files you can send between certain devices, as the browser memory is restricted.
for iPhone the file size you can send and receive is up to 250Mb
for Android the file size you can send and receive is up to 500Mb between mobile devices
for Desktops (Mac/Pc/Linux) the file size you can send and receive is up to 2.5Gb
You can only send and receive to a devices default size. For example you will not be allowed to send a 2.5Gb file from a desktop to an iPhone.
2. Why is there a limit on the filesize?
The limits are imposed by the browser and not Zoof.
3. What types of files can i send?
You can send any file type because we do not compress or compromise the file in any way. we don’t recognize file formats, so you can send anything you like, as many times as you like
4. How secure is Zoof?
Zoof is end-to-end encrypted and secure. No one looks at your content, we do keep a log of the filename and size of the file(s) that are being sent and received but no attempt is made to look at the content of your file delivery.

6. How fast is it to send a file?
There is always a bottleneck of your service provider’s upload speed. the speed at which you can send from your device out into the internet. however the architecture used in the “sending” of the files allowed us to operate at many times faster than conventional file transmission speeds.
7. what if there is a break in the connection half way through the file delivery process?
Our system has an in-built smart-resume capability so that in the case of a line break or diving into a deadzone, the file transmission does not begin again, as in most cloud services today – but rather, continues from where it left off. This means that from a one could initiate a file deliver on leaving one’s home and as you drove to the office if you drove into a low signal quality area (a dead zone), that the transmission effectively stops until one comes out of the zone into a better signal strength zone.
8. What does the circle with a % sign mean?
this is your progress circle that shows the % of how much of the file has left the sender device and at the receiver it shows how much of the file has been received. When 100% is reached, at the sender end a popup will notify the sender the file was delivered in full and if they would like to archive or keep a local record of the file which is then placed in the recent transfers section, this will contain the last 10 entries. we are keeping all the entries in the backend and will make them available in future releases of Zoof.
9. how to confidently send files in this release?
