How do I send a file?

Once you have registered, activated your account and successfully logged in, you’re ready to start sending files.

NOTE: The QR code in this manual is an example. It will open properly on your device, but there is no actual file available to receive.

1. From the Zoof home screen choose [ Send ]

2. You will be presented with the fIle picker dialog of your Operating system, use it to select the file you want to transfer.

3. The Sharing dialog will show up

4. You can use three options to allow someone to receive the file you have selected

a) Let them scan the QR code from your screen

b) Choose [ Copy link ], you should get the following prompt, dismiss using [ OK ]

The link has been copied to your clipboard. You can paste it into your preferred application to send the link to the one you want to receive the file ( Signal, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc) and send it.

c) Use the [ Mail link ] option. This will open up your default mail application and create an email that contains the link for the person you want to receive the file

5. Once you have shared the QR code or send the link, you can dismiss the Sharing Dialog.

6. You’ll be back at the Home screen and see the file you had selected ready for transfer

9. This completes the transfer. You can close the tab or initiate another transfer using the same steps again.
